Knits and spins

As the title of this post states, I knit and spin. I also weave. I am hoping to use this blog to keep track of my projects and stash. At some point I will try to do a vlog since I really enjoy watching others.

I also will be posting about my weight loss journey. In 2013 I lost 30 pounds. I have been following Weight Watchers and it works for me. I still have a way to go, but I know that I can do it.

WIPS

I am working on the Summer storm shawl out of Noro silk garden sock. I'm using a 7 us, 4.50 mm. I really like Noro yarns. the color changes are great. It is not the softess yarn, but does soften up after washing. I have swatched for my Halelea sweater. There is a KAL for this pattern and I am going to start it on the 1st. I'm using Must Stash yarn.  it is very soft and drapes well on a size 4 us, 3.50 mm needle. I didn't quite get stitch gauge, but did get row gauge. I will be doing a 40" bust since I don't like a tight sweater.

SPINNING

I started spinning Haunted Vineyard by Cloudlover. I am going to fractal spin it. It is on my Ashford Traveler. It is a double drive.
